Hastoe Hill Stables is a British Horse Society Approved School with BHS trained and qualified staff in the heart of the Chilterns.
At Hastoe Hill Stables we start teaching riding from 4 years old we offer a variety of lessons starting with a private assessment lesson with one of our qualified instructors. From the assessment lesson we will be able to determine ability and which groups will suit you most.
How to get started:
Please look at our lessons, hacking and prices pages for more information on the different lessons we offer. If you have never ridden at Hastoe Hill Stables before we suggest a initial private assessment lesson.
To make a booking:
Please call us during our open hours, if we are unable to get to the phone please leave a message and we will call you as soon as possible.
You can also book via our email or facebook page.
What to wear:
We have a variety of current standard riding hats which can be borrowed if you don't have your own. Please wear trousers without a seam e.g. leggings as they are less likely to rub. Jeans are not appropriate as they can rub badly. Footwear should have a small heel - unfortunately most trainers have a flat sole so please use wellington boots if you are unsure.
Your first lesson:
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your lesson or hack as rider registration forms must be completed. This also allows you plenty of time to meet your instructor and horse.
Important Notice: Horse riding is a risk sport and you ride at your own risk. Horses can be unpredictable and whilst we make every effort to ensure your safety we cannot foresee all eventualities. We ask that you always wear a riding har whilst riding, leading and grooming the horses at Hastoe Hill Stables.
